Bio

Dr. Maya Doroschak was born and raised in Vadnais Heights, MN – just down the street from our office! She grew up seeing Dr. Jackson as a patient for various dance-related injuries. Coming from a family of dentists, Dr. Maya was immersed in the healthcare environment at a young age. Her passion for holistic, patient-centered care guided her to choose a career in chiropractic.
Dr. Maya received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University, and she completed her undergraduate studies in exercise science and public health at the University of St. Thomas. Dr. Maya is Board Certified from The Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics. She has been granted Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP) in the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association’s (ICPA) renowned Certification Program. This certification allowed Dr. Maya to expand her range of care to individuals throughout pregnancy and childhood using evidence-informed practice.
Dr. Maya has a special interest in women’s health and pediatric care, developed further through her clinical experience and post-doctorate education. She has worked with patients who have a variety of conditions – from colic, ear infections, pregnancy-related back pain, headaches, and postural issues. Dr Maya has additional training through the ICPA, and she is currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in maternal and pediatric health. Dr. Maya is also trained in Craniosacral Therapy, and she is a certified Webster technique provider, which is a gentle and specific approach to correct alignment and balance of the pelvis during pregnancy. Dr. Maya enjoys educating her patients to empower them to take an active role in their health.
In her free time, Dr. Maya spends time at her family cabin, playing board games, and baking gluten-free desserts.
